Jake Shanker of Tenafly 13, will be returning for his second consecutive year to sing "America the Beautiful."
Other performers include Tenafly residents Saraya Angbazo 10, Jaden Todd, 12, and 11-year-old Sisley Carretas of Dumont.
Additional talent includes tweens and teens throughout the New York metropolitan area, as well as from Arizona, Florida, and Hawaii.
This year marked the 10th anniversary of the US Open Anthem Auditions. The process for these coveted spots began earlier this summer when more than 200 performers submitted performances via a nationwide online audition. A select number of contestants were later invited to participate in an in-person call-back where they performed in front of a panel of judges from the music and entertainment industries.
Past US Open anthem winners and performers include Frenie Acoba (“Matilda” on Broadway), Angelica Hale (“America’s Got Talent” season 12), and Brennley Brown (“The Voice” season 12).
The US Open runs from Aug. 28 to Sept 10. Todd will sing on Tuesday, Aug. 29; Angazo will sing Monday. Sept. 4; Carretas on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and Shanker on Wednesday, Sept. 6. The children's performances will be held prior to the night session, which starts at 7 p.m.
