The longtime starting center for the New York Knicks is turning 54 on Friday, Aug. 5.
Ewing played briefly with the Seattle SuperSonics and Orlando Magic, and is currently associate head coach of the Charlotte Hornets.
He was named the 16th greatest college player of all time by ESPN and won Olympic gold medals as a member of the 1984 and 1992 United States men's basketball teams.
