The Actors Fund is looking to raise $10 million toward the new assisted living and skilled nursing facility for professional entertainers and performing artists.

The new structure will replace the current 56-year-old building off W. Hudson Avenue with more than 25,000 more square feet of space -- increasing to 169 the number of residents it can house (from 124).
