ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — Chick-fil-A is opening in Englewood Thursday — but not before a celebration Wednesday and a chance to win free meals for a year.
All you've got to do is join the scavenger hunt. The first 100 can.
Registration to participate in the hunt is from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., at 2 Nathanial Place.
The group will complete specified tasks at stops all within a mile radius of the restaurant, and will return at 2 p.m. to package meals for a charitable cause and receive their prizes.
Participants will win one Chick-fil-A meal consisting of a sandwich, waffle fries and a drink every week for a year.
The event is open to residents, age 18 or older with ID, living within specific zip codes surrounding the restaurant.
The 4,000-square-foot Englwood Chick-fil-A restaurant features a:
- custom restaurant concept developed by the chain for urban locations where land is at a premium and pedestrian traffic is high.
- heritage interior design with seating for 58 which showcases handmade, authentic materials for a vintage-inspired interior, including subway tiles and a large community gathering table made from reclaimed wood.
- full-service menu with a variety of healthy and dietary options, such as the recently added Gluten-Free Bun, and breakfast until 10:30 a.m., and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All restaurants are closed on Sunday to provide a day of rest and time with family for team members.
The restaurant will open on Thursday, Oct. 12.
