The historic church was consumed by a fire in March, when flames tore through the sanctuary before collapsing its pitched roof.

Along with the devastation came the destruction of First Presbyterian's Möller pipe organ -- Bergen County's largest -- which was restored and expanded five years ago.

Easter services were held at bergenPAC this year.

Located a few blocks east of the downtown shopping district, the Victorian Gothic landmark was built in 1870, a decade after it became Bergen County's first Presbyterian church. Congregants hail from more than 30 towns.

The Manhattan Bagel fundraiser will be on Sunday, May 7 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. All of the proceeds will be donated to the church.
