Morgan announced the tour just four months after a devastating car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike near Cranbury last June that left him in critical condition with a traumatic brain injury and killed his friend and fellow comedian, James "Jimmy Mack" McNair.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. bergenPAC event range from $39 to $59 and can be bought online at Ticketmaster.
Starring for seven seasons on NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning “30 Rock,” Morgan received his first Emmy Nomination for his role in the Supporting Actor category. He was also nominated for a Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award.
The “30 Rock” cast also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.” Tracy’s credits include a standup special for Comedy Central, his own HBO Special, “Black & Blue” and 2013 Billboard Music Awards host.
He appeared on “Saturday Night Live” for seven seasons and created such memorable characters as “Astronaut Jones” and “Brian Fellows.”
After leaving SNL, Morgan went on to star in his own comedy series “The Tracy Morgan Show” and voiced “Spoonie Luv” on Comedy Central’s “Crank Yankers.”
He recently returned to host Saturday Night Live on October 17, 2015 surrounded by his 30 Rock co-stars Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer.
