ENGLEWOOD, N. J. -- Registration is open for the fifth annual Run in the Wild 5K trail run Sunday, Aug. 7, featuring a forested trail through a 150-acre nature preserve in Englewood.
The annual run supports the nature center, a nonprofit preserve and education center. The run starts at 8:30 a.m. at the visitor center, 443 Van Nostrand Ave., and winds through the nature center.
Registration is limited to 200 people, so organizers suggest early registration. To register, visit the website.
Cost is $25 and includes refreshments. Pre-registered participants also get a T-shirt.
There will also be registration between 7 and 8 a.m. on race day at the visitors center for an additional $5. There will also be an awards ceremony at 9:30 a.m. For more details visit the website.
