The Alementary Brewing Company of Hackensack is contributing two craft beers for attendees to sample.
The fun runs 6:30-9:30 p.m. and includes a wide selection of craft beers, a light dinner and fare prepared in Bavarian style. TNT Dining is planning an assortment of foods to complement the brew..
Souvenir mugs created especially for the occasion cost 9.99 for unlimited amounts of beer. Tom Manolio will lead a live auction offering culinary, sports and special items for the home. A 50/50 raffle will also be held.
Alementary Brewing Company opened six months ago with the goal of creating a neighborhood "watering hole." Owners Blake Crawford, a former chemical engineer, and Michael Roosevelt, Ph.D, a trained molecular biologist, wanted to introduce their new business to the public and also serve the community.

Oktoberfest at The Community Chest is the launch of the nonprofit organization's 2016-17 Annual Campaign. Funds raised will support area nonprofit organizations that address a range of issues, including health and mental health, hunger, arts programming, the environment, volunteerism and other needs of more than 40,000 local residents of all ages hailing from Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs.
