Bill Murray, Steve Weatherford Visit Englewood Ice Cream Shop

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — An Englewood ice cream shop got a treat of its own this week, or two.

Comedian Bill Murray and NFL star Steve Weatherford both stopped in to Ice Cream on Grand, Murray on Wednesday and Weatherford on Tuesday.

Murray, who has a home in Palisades, N.Y., got himself a scoop of cherry vanilla and strawberry. Weatherford and his three daughters snapped a selfie of ice cream-covered lips.

The Emmy Award-winning actor got his start on "Saturday Night Live" and starred in films including "Ghostbusters," "Caddyshack," "Charlie's Angels" and more.

NFL free agent Weatherford won Superbowl XLVI for the New York Giants against the New England Patriots.

He also played for the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars.
