Crash With Injuries Reported On I-295 South Jersey There was a crash with injuries on Interstate 295 in Gloucester County. The crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 on I-295 southbound north of Exit 20 in West Deptford Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation and State Police. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevy Traverse was involved in a single-vehicle crash, State Police said. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Cooper Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, they said. Two of three lanes were closed, 511nj.org reported.

The crash occurred at about 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24 on the turnpike north of Interchange 2 (Route 322) in West Deptford Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation website. All lanes were temporarily blocked, 511nj.org said. No serious injuries were reported, according to New Jersey State Police.

Passenger Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash A passenger was killed when the vehicle she was traveling in crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The SUV was traveling south near milepost 18.5 in West Deptford Township at about 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, when it left the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail, according to New Jersey State Police. A passenger in the vehicle, Kayla Rodriguez, 26, of Falls Church, VA, died of her injuries, State Police said. Authorities did not say if the driver, a 30-year-old Falls Church man, or a young passenger were hurt. The crash remains under investigation.

Allison Dephillipo, of Gibbstown, was driving a Nissan Versa southbound in West Deptford Township at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, when the Nissan struck the rear of the truck, according to New Jersey State Police.
