Deadly Double-Shooting Investigated In Trenton
A deadly double-shooting is under investigation in Trenton, authorities said. Jonathan Applegate, of Trenton, was killed in the shooting on Tuesday, June 11, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. His age was not released. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting. South Jersey Ex-Con Gets 25 Years Without Parole For Drug, Weapons Convictions: Feds
A Trenton-area ex-con who served time for drug and weapons convictions is headed to federal prison for 25 years. Timothy “Young Money” Wimbush, 33, will have to serve out just about all of the sentence because there's no parole in the federal prison system. Wimbush rejected a plea offer from the government after he was caught armed and dealing during a gun war in Trenton. Taking his chances with a jury, he was convicted in October 2021 of selling and conspiring to sell heroin and possessing a firearm and ammo as a convicted felon. Violent Offender Busted After Firing Shots From Stolen Glock, Trenton Police Say
A violent offender who is banned from possessing handguns was arrested again after authorities allegedly caught him firing rounds from a stolen Glock in Trenton. Paris T. Mann, 35, was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, receiving stolen property, obstruction, and other weapons offenses, Trenton Police said on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Mann was seen firing rounds from a weapon as officers responded to the area of Stuyvesant and Hayes Avenues, police said. Missing Trenton Teen May Be 'Very Violent' Due To Lack Of Medication: Police
Authorities have issued an alert for a missing Trenton teen they say may be violent due to a lack of compliance with his medication. Jahlile J. Milburne, 16, was reported missing from the Mount Holly area on Tuesday, June 21, Trenton Police said. Milburne is currently not in compliance with his medication and as a result can “often be very violent,” according to police. Milburne stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds, police said. He is known to make frequent trips to the Monmouth Street, West State Street and Stuyvesant Avenue areas.
