Truck Driver Hospitalized After Crash On Route 55 In Deptford (Update) A truck driver was hospitalized after running off Route 55 in Deptford, authorities said. A portion of Route 55 was closed for more than two hours due to the crash on Wednesday, July 24, according to the NJDOT. Troopers responded at about 4 p.m. on Route 55 north milepost 59.6, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a New Jersey State Police spokesman.
