Passenger Critically Hurt In Route 1 Mercer County Crash A 39-year-old woman from Pennington was critically injured in a crash on Route 1 in West Windsor, authorities said. On Wednesday, Feb. 28 at about 2:20 p.m., West Windsor police responded to a single-car crash on Route 1 South just south of Carnegie Center Blvd. The vehicle that crashed was reported to have struck a pole and was in the roadway, West Windsor police said. R.A. Florio Building Contractors Inc., of Toms River, for example, has been ordered to pay $39,555.57 to the state, according to the department of labor and workforce development. Driver, 78, Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured After Car Strikes Tree In Mercer County: Police A 78-year-old man who suffered a medical emergency died after his car struck a tree in Mercer County, authorities said. Jared Fowler, of Pennington, was driving near Fackler Road and Deer Run at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 when he veered off the road, Lawrence Township police said. Fowler was taken to Capital Health Systems Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. His passenger, Janne Fowler, 78, was taken to the hospital with significant but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
