Murder: Arrest Made In Bridgeton Shooting That Killed One Teen, Injured Another A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder and related offenses in a shooting that left a  17-year-old boy dead and a 17-year-old girl wounded in Bridgeton, authorities said. Driver Indicted For Leaving Scene Of Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Bridgeton A 66-year-old Cumberland County man has been indicted for leaving the scene of a hit-and-run pedestrian crash, authorities said. Steven Clark was unlicensed at the time of the crash, Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. His minivan was traveling on North Pearl Street in Bridgeton around 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 17, 2022, when prosecutors say the vehicle struck Leonardo Sanchez-Salas as he crossed the street, the prosecutor said. Seen This CAR? South Jersey Police Seek Help Finding Hit-Run Driver A hit-and-run driver left a pedestrian seriously hurt in South Jersey, authorities said. Bridgeton police seek the public's help finding a Chevy Equinox that left the scene of a crash on Friday, June 24 at 1:43 a.m. on North Pearl Street. After striking the man, the car continued east on Irving Avenue, police said. The man suffered a serious head injury, police said. The car was described as a late model Chevy Equinox missing its front registration plate.  Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Matt Rammell at 856-451-0033.
