Infant Overdose: NJ Woman Charged With Endangerment After Baby Ingests Opioid A 23-year-old Bergen County woman was arrested after a 6-month-old child ingested and overdosed on an opioid, authorities said. Alia Elsafy of North Arlington was initially jailed, but a Superior Court judge in Hackensack almost immediately ordered her release on Friday, May 26, under New Jersey's bail reform law, records show. Teacher's Aide Arrested After Arranging Sex With Boy, 14, Police In North Jersey Say A 24-year-old teacher’s aide from Bloomfield was arrested after authorities said he arranged to have sex with a 14-year-old North Arlington boy. Don R. Knight-Powell, 24, had been communicating online before making the arrangements, North Arlington Police Lt. Michael Horton said.
