A 30-year-old Pennsylvania man standing along the side of the New Jersey Turnpike after a collision was struck and killed by a passing car early Monday, April 22, authorities said. Alton Smith, of Levittown, PA, had bee driving a BMW 328i when he got into a crash with another BMW around 2:20 a.m. in Robbinsville, New Jersey State Police said. Andre Gordon, the 26-year-old gunman accused of gunning down three people in Pennsylvania, was captured in Trenton after an hours-long search Saturday, March 16, authorities said. Seven people were arrested in Atlantic City in anti-drug operations that targeted areas that were the source of frequent complaints, authorities said. Nicole Larue Walsh, a longtime teacher in Philadelphia schools and a Levittown mother of three, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 16, loved ones said in her obituary. She was 47. A lifelong Levittown resident, Walsh graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1994 before continuing her studies at Temple University, her obit says.
