South Jersey Man, 62, Killed Striking Utility Pole, Flipping A 62-year-old driver died after striking a utility pole and overturning in Gloucester County, authorities said. The man from Glassboro was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on the 200 block of East High Street/Route 322 when he lost control at 4:06 p.m. on Monday, May 1, Glassboro police said. The car ran off the roadway to the right, struck the utility pole and overturned, police said. The gunman remained at large. ​The preliminary investigation indicated that at 1:06 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, Glassboro police officers responded to the 200 block of University Boulevard for a report of gunshots.
