Police Seek Help ID'ing Dead Man In South Jersey A body was found by authorities at a Salvation Army in South Jersey. On Sunday, Sept. 4 at 11:08 a.m., Bridgeton police were dispatched to 29 W. Commerce Street for a male who appeared to be deceased on the property. Bridgeton Fire/EMS responded and the male was pronounced dead a short time later, police said. The male was described as Hispanic, wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, cowboy boots and a brown jacket. The male had a goatee facial hair and appeared to be between 40 and 45 years old. Bridgeton Man Critical After Assault: Police A 25-year-old man has been arrested for an assault that left the victim in critical condition in Cumberland County, authorities said. On Saturday, Aug. 12 at 11:36 p.m., Bridgeton police officers were dispatched to Myrtle Street for an assault. Police found an unconscious 35-year-old Bridgeton man being treated by Bridgeton Fire/EMS.  A short time later ER Staff contacted police and advised that the victim was in critical condition with a serious head injury.
