Detectives from Bridgeton Police and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the stabbing on the 100 block of Walnut Street in Bridgeton at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 28.
Bridgeton police responded to Inspira Regional Medical Center in Vineland where they found the victim being treated for a large stab wound to the neck.
The victim succumbed to his injury early Monday morning, July 29, Bridgeton police said.
His name had not been released.
Police said they recovered the weapon.
No arrests had been made.
