A federal grand jury in New Jersey on Thursday indicted the Paterson man accused of shooting baseball legend David “Big Papi” Ortiz on heroin- and cocaine-dealing charges. Rolfi Ferreira-Cruz, 25, also is charged in the indictment returned in Newark with carrying a gun while committing a drug crime, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said. The man accused of shooting baseball legend David “Big Papi” Ortiz has been wanted for a pair of street robberies in Clifton last year, Daily Voice has learned.
