Surveillance cameras recorded a Hackensack man throwing bleach in the face of a mechanic at a Rochelle Park service station, then smashing his windshield, authorities said. Alonge Jones, 33, went to the station at the corner of Rochelle and Central avenues after his girlfriend purportedly had some type of “negative interaction” with the mechanic a day earlier, Rochelle Park Police Capt. Thanks to a conscientious Instacart driver, Maywood police caught an 18-year-old Hackensack man and a 17-year-old female companion trying to steal a vehicle, authorities said. A homeless man with a criminal history was recorded on video entering a private school in Rochelle Park at night, stripping and then mopping the floors naked, authorities said. Chayson Ortiz, 30, is accused of trespassing at the Sage Day School both on Christmas Eve and Christmas.
