An unseasonable stretch of springlike temperatures will be followed by the arrival of a colder air mass that could bring a round of snowfall next week. The potential for snow could cover a stretch of about 2,000 miles, according to AccuWeather forecasters. A Hurricane Watch has been issued along Florida's East Coast as newly named subtropical storm Nicole makes its way toward the East Coast. Nicole, located about 380 miles east-northeast of the Bahamas as of early Tuesday morning, Nov. 8, is moving northwest. A turn toward the west and west-southwest is expected later in the day, and that motion should continue through Wednesday, Nov. 9, the National Hurricane Center said. A young Bergen County girl battling two life-threatening tumors had her dream come true when she received a backyard play set — courtesy of Jersey Mike’s Subs and Make-A-Wish.
