The Cobras — comprised of 5th- and 6th-grade boys from Closter, Demarest and Haworth — capped off a perfect 10-0 season by beating previously unbeaten Park Ridge in their Super Bowl, played at Park Ridge High School (SEE: Closter Junior Footballers Cap Perfect Season With Championship).

"Even though the group of you live in three different towns, you played together as a unit and as a team, and that is what is important," Demarest Mayor Raymond Cywinski told the boys.
