Former Demarest Football Player Wraps Up Sophomore Year At Notre Dame

DEMAREST, N.J. -- Former Northern Valley Regional High School and Demarest football player Andrew Trumbetti finished his sophomore season at Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State.

Trumbetti had four tackles in the 44-28 loss to the Buckeyes in Arizona on New Year's Day.

For the season, the defensive lineman had 16 total tackles and an interception returned for a touchdown.

Trumbetti graduated from Northern Valley in 2014, before enrolling in Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business as a management consulting major.
