Demarest Students Receive Japanese Language Awards

DEMAREST, N.J. -- Three students from Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest were honored with the Japanese Lanugage and Culture Study Award" on Friday, March 11.

Nathalie Leon, JeeYoon (Jenna) Kim and Na Yeh ( Eileen) Kim received the award during a ceremony in Cranford. They each made short speeches about what they learned by studying Japanese in front of other awardees and family members. 

The honor is given annually to students to honor their excellent grades and consistent effort in the Japanese program by the New Jersey Association of Teachers of Japanese.
