Demarest Music Students Perform With Vermont High School Band

DEMAREST, N.J. -- Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest's music department, under the direction of Lauren Delesky, played host to the Champlain Valley High School Symphonic Band, from Vermont, on Friday, April 29.

The groups performed for one another, and the afternoon concluded with a joint performance of over 110 musicians on the NVD auditorium stage.

Delesky said it was wonderful to see two completely different ensembles combine so quickly, and perform a work together within minutes.

"Thank you to the Norseman Music Parent Association for donating the pizza party after the performances to conclude a great afternoon," said NVD Principal James Santana.
