The "Concentration" is a body of related works that demonstrate sustained and thoughtful investigation of a specific visual idea. Each student chooses their own idea and media for their Concentration.

Before submitting their portfolio, students must also include a written commentary describing their concentration idea. All 12 artworks (or images of their artworks) will be displayed along with their commentary, and the AP Studio Artists will be present to discuss their art.

Cresskill High School’s first juried art show will also take place. This will be a special exhibition of artworks submitted by students in grades 9-12. Winners of “Best in Show,” “Most Creative,” and “Technical Excellence” will be recognized.
