Academy of the Holy Angels Student Musical Garners 6 Award Nominations

DEMAREST, N.J. -- Staff at Academy of the Holy Angels (AHA) on Hillside Avenue have offered congratulations to the cast and crew of the high school's spring musical, "Children of Eden."

The cast and crew of Academy of the Holy Angels' spring musical, "Children of Eden," have been nominated for several Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star awards.

The students were nominated for several Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star awards, including for best choreography, best music direction, outstanding chorus, best leading actor, outstanding direction and outstanding performance of a musical, according to an AHA statement on Facebook.

According to the statement, this year's nomination marks the first time any of the school's musicals have been in the running for Outstanding Performance of a Musical.
