Two Hospitalized, One Extricated, In Closter Crash

CLOSTER, N.J. -- One of two drivers involved in a Thursday morning Closter crash had to be cut from the car after it rolled against a telephone pole.

Both drivers were hospitalized.

The crash, which occurred just before 9 a.m. at the corner of High and Perry streets, drew borough police, firefighters and ambulance workers, along with a Harrington Park ambulance crew and Demarest police.

Police were investigating, Detective Sgt. Vincent Aiello said.
