CLIFFVIEW PILOT HAS IT FIRST: A day after he turned 18, a Fairview man was arrested on adult criminal charges of firing a paintball gun from his apartment window while police were investigating previous reports from the same neighborhood.

Police wouldn’t discuss the apparent irony of Corey Munafo being charged as an adult in connection with Friday’s incident.

They were looking into previous reports from the same neighborhood earlier this month, including one in which someone was struck but not seriously injured, when they were called this time to Wilson Avenue.

The previous incidents occurred before Munafo’s birthday and would be considered in Family Court, under juvenile statutes, if police find a connection to him.

He was released without bail on criminal mischief charges.
