The 18-year-old girl said the man pulled up in a red, four-door, older-model sedan as she walked on Churchill Road near the Demarest border around 7:15 a.m. yesterday.

She said he asked whether she wanted a ride, but she kept walking.

He then tunred the car around and got out, “asking questions about her age, where she goes to school and if she would take pictures with him,” Detective Jason Lanzilotti told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.

The girl said she told him she’s 19 and kept walking, calling a friend on her cellphone. He then took off west toward County Road, she said.

She described him as Hispanic, about 5-foot-4 with a thin build and dark hair.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call Creskill police: (201) 568-1400.
