Annique Monk-Goldsmith, 33, and Preston Mckinney, 31, were charged with having the drugs with the intent to distribute them near a school, Detective Sgt. Vincent Aiello said.

Monk-Goldsmith and Mckinney, of Bend, were released pending hearings.

Roughly 200 cars were stopped at the six-hour overnight checkpoint, Aiello said.

In addition to the drug bust, police issued 31 summonses and arrested a DWI driver who registered twice the legal limit on an alcohol breath test, he said.
