Carl Cox apparently snatched the victim’s debit card and then swiped it at several ATMs the past year, Kaine told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.

Notified that the account was overdrawn, the victim’s sister spoke with Detective Vincent Aiello, the chief said.

Aiello investigated, then brought charges against Cox, who worked as a supervisor for Vantage Health Systems on Railroad Avenue.

Cox posted $30,000 bail and was released pending a Feb. 4 arraignment on charges of theft by deception, credit card fraud and identity theft.
