The Lothian and Borders Police Choir, The Tayside Police Choir and the Peebles community choir, InChorus, participated at a variety of events — from Times Square to Central Park to Wall Street — and even sang in the street.

Then, on the night of the “anniversary,” the choirs participated in a Police Memorial benefit concert at New York City’s Town Hall. Performers also included the Police Pipes & Drums of Bergen County and the New Jersey State Police Pipes & Drums of the Blue and Gold.

The Scottish choirs opened with “Lean on Me” that night.

Then they followed with this:

Happy Birthday, America.
