Alpine Demarest PBA readies 1st cigar night

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Alpine/Demarest PBA Local 350 plans its first-ever cigar party fundraiser at Locale Cafe in Closter — including top-shelf liquor, cigars (of course) and hors d’oeuvres. Part of the proceeds will go to the NJ State PBA Survivor & Welfare Fund.

The May 23 event begins at 7 p.m.

There will be raffles, including a 50/50 and those with prizes.

Tickets are $125/person.

They’re are available at the Alpine and Demarest police departments.
