CRESSKILL, N.J. -- Lucia DePinto (nee) Gadaleta, of Cresskill (formerly of Alpine and Hoboken), died Jan. 28. She was 85.
She was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Molfetta, Bari, Italy, and came to the United States in the 1940s. She was a homemaker. She also was very devoted to Madonna Dei Martiri.
She was the wife to the late Mario DePinto; mother to Anna Maria Binetti and her husband Mauro; grandmother to Mario Luca and Rosanna Binetti; sister to Francesco Gadaleta and his wife Anna; and aunt to Joseph Francis Gadaleta, Peter Gadaleta and Christina Stroever. She also is survived by many cousins, family members and friends.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2 at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park. A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Tenafly. Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Monday.
