CRESSKILL, N.Y. -- Cresskill native Julianne Wainstein is the newest cast member of the reality TV show "Real Housewives of New York," according to the New York Post.

Wainstein said she got on the show thanks to Dorinda Medley. The two met at a wedding five years ago, the New York Post reported.

The eighth season of "Real Housewives of New York" will premier on April 6, the Post said.
