Closter DPW Launches Compost Delivery Program

CLOSTER, N.J. — Closter residents are invited to sign up for the borough's Compost Delivery Program at the Department of Public Works facility on Monday, March 14 through Thursday, March 31.

Registration must be done in person between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Those who sign up will receive three to five yards of compost delivered to the edge of their driveway anytime between the 1st and 15th of April. An adult must be present at the residence when the delivery is made.

This is a first-come, first-serve program. Businesses and commercial properties are excluded.

The Closter DPW facility is located at 130 Ruckman Road.
