Country Western Hoedown Coming To Closter In June

CLOSTER, N.J. -- Closter will be hosting a western hoedown on Friday, June 10, presented by the Closter Improvement Commission.

Closter's hoedown will include square dancing, pie-eating contest and a mechanical bull, among other features.

The event will feature family square dancing and line dancing, country music, a mechanical bull, a petting zoo and pony rides, yodeling, BBQ, pie-eating contests, and face painting.

Bring blankets and lawn chairs, "and dress to impress in Country Western," organizers note.
