Closter Health Department Offers Free Healthy Lifestyle Program

CLOSTER, N.J. — The Closter Health Department is partnering with the Health Awareness Regional Program of Hackensack UMC is offering services on how to live a healthy lifestyle the first Wednesday of each month.

The program is free and led by a registered nurse at the Closter Public Library at 280 High Street from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

Topics include blood pressure assessment; body mass index measurement; diabetes risk assessment; stress management; health education and community resources. 

The program is also offered in the Senior Citizen Building located at 4 Lewis Street from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
