Former New York Met Comes To Closter

CLOSTER, N.J. -- Temple Emanu-El of Closter is hosting a breakfast and book-signing with Art Shamsky -- who was part of the "Miracle Mets," defeating the Baltimore Orioles in the 1969 World Championship -- on Sunday, May 15.

The cost is $36, or $18 for those under 18. Register by Monday, May 9, here. Payment must be made prior to the event.

The breakfast and book-signing will be from 9:30-10:15 a.m., in the Promenade at the temple, at 180 Piermont Rd., in Closter. A free lecture will follow in the chapel.
