CLOSTER, N.J. -- Closter has released a schedule of key events in the spring.

  • Sunday, April 24: Opening Day for Little League and Girls Softball. The Little League Parade begins at 12:30 p.m. from Borough Hall  
  • Saturday, May 7: Annual Joe Accordino Memorial Fishing Contest from 9 a.m. to noon at Ruckman Pond 
  • Monday, May 30: The Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service Parade steps off at 10 a.m. Memorial Service follows at Veterans Memorial Park
  • Friday, June 10: Closter’s Country Hoe Down.
