Closter Improvement Commission Organizes Second Annual 'Hoe Down'

CLOSTER, N.J. -- The Closter Improvement Commission will hold its Second Annual Country Western Hoe Down on Friday, June 10, at Veterans Memorial Park in Closter.

Some of the activities at the upcoming Second Annual Country Western Hoe Down include square dancing and line dancing.

Some of the activities will include family square and line dancing, petting zoo, pony rides, pie-eating contests, delicious BBQ, yodeling and face painting. All ages are welcome.

Guest are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and dress to impress in country western.

The event will be from 6 - 9 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, June 12, from noon - 3 p.m.

Veterans Memorial Park is at 150 Harrington Ave, Closter.
