Author Discusses Book About Dad's Red Apple Restautant At Closter Library

CLOSTER, N.J. -- Closter Library will be having a special guest join them on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. Author Elaine Freed Lindenblatt will give a talk on her father's eatery, Red Apple Restaurant, on Route 17.

Lindeblatt will discuss the 50-plus-year history of the eatery, and what it was like to grow up in a round-the-clock business. This business served over a million customers per year.

Lindeblatt's book, "Stop at the Red Apple" will be available for sale and signing.

“Stuffed with vignettes, photos (including some of celebrity autographs), interviews, and personal recollections, this charming memoir describes the beloved restaurant during its heyday—and should offer many readers a pleasant trip down memory lane,” Hudson Valley Magazine reported.
