The new Farmhouse Cafe will be different than the original — located inside of a converted farmhouse — in terms of both menu and environment, Kipperman said.
"This one is in a big warehouse, so it will have more of an industrial feel to it," said Kipperman, of Tenafly.
The dine-in restaurant will seat 125 customers, and will feature burgers, hot sandwiches, homemade soups and fresh salads, the owner said.
It will be "very American" and the menu will include a wide variety of comfort foods like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and shepherd's pie, Kipperman said.
"I think there will be something there for everybody which is what is nice about Farmhouse," said Kipperman, who will also be offering gluten-free options.
She hopes for the restaurant to bring an "easy-breezy" experience for Westwood diners, and is weighing plans for continued expansion.
"I think our concept could work anywhere," Kipperman said. "But for now we are taking it place by place."
