Two longtime math teachers at Phillipsburg High School — one the head wrestling coach and the other a teachers’ union official — were arrested Monday for attempting to illegally influence a tenure vote, Pennlive.com reports.
Head coach Dave Post, 36, and George Chilmonik, 74, were being held at the Warren County jail on various charges of official misconduct, criminal coercion, improper influence in official and political matters and conspiracy pending Tuesday afternoon court appearances, according to the report, which cites Warren County Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer.

Man Stabs Greyhound Bus Passenger In NJ, Severs Own Finger With 6-Inch Knife, Prosecutor Says
A man wielding a knife on a Greyhound bus headed to New York City stabbed another passenger on Sunday, slicing open his own finger in the process, authorities charged.
Quientell Donaldson, 37, is accused of yelling and engaging in a dispute as the bus was traveling on Route 80 in Warren County around 1 a.m., NJ.com reports citing Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer.
Donaldson then stabbed the victim several times, severing his own finger in the attack, Pfeiffer said.
The driver pulled over near the exit in Hope Township and contacted police, who arrested Donaldson later that day.

Jesus Serano, 38, was stopped for several violations on Route 22 in Pohatcong on Tuesday, township police said.

Two men including one arrested for an armed robbery have been charged with using drugs to force a woman into prostitution for more than month in North Jersey, authorities said.
William Wilson, 47, of Belvidere, NJ and Jeremiah Forde, 39, of Budd Lake, forced the adult female into acts of prostitution out of a Hanover hotel, then collected the proceeds, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M.
