Update: Police Officer Stable, Witnesses Sought After Tractor-Trailer Rams Cruiser A police officer whose cruiser was t-boned by a tractor-trailer just north of the New Jersey state line was in stable condition, her department said, as authorities sought witnesses to the horrific crash. Warwick Police Officer Jordan Tetreault was headed southwest on Route 94 when her 2019 Ford Explorer was rammed by the rig coming northwest off Warwick Turnpike at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, New York State Police said. She was 57. Born in Stakeford, Northumberland, England, Louise went to Bedlington High School before graduating from Northumberland College in Ashington, her obituary says. Louise then went to the US for what was initially supposed to be a six-month job as a nanny in 1985 — but after meeting her husband, Scott, the pair decided to settle …

Woodcliff Lake Contractor Hospitalized With Facial Burns After Touching 480-Volt Line An electrical contractor was hospitalized with burns on his face Tuesday after he contacted a live main line at an office building in Woodcliff Lake. The 50-year-old contractor was working on a service panel when he touched a 480-volt line at 100 Tice Boulevard around 10:30 a.m., Detective Sgt. Chad Malloy said. He walked to the ambulance on his own and was brought to Westchester Medical Center Trauma and Burn Center in Valhalla, the sergeant said.
