New Jersey law enforcers are co-leading a multi-state investigation into whether TikTok puts youngsters at physical and emotional risk, Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin announced. A man arrested for rape and kidnapping in Tennessee is thought to have raped children in 10 other states, according to the Hamilton County district attorney's office and Homeland Security. A Newark man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of a 32-year-old woman at a Newark hotel, authorities said. Nasier McCray, 23, is accused of killing Tennnessee native Jessica Hilton in a hotel on Clinton Avenue, where she had been living, on July 7, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Travelers from one state have been added to the COVID-19 joint quarantine list of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The new state added on Tuesday, Oct. 6 is New Mexico. No areas have been removed from the advisory list of 33 states and two territories.
