Woman Struck, Seriously Injured By Car Crossing Hackensack Intersection
A 74-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night, Oct. 26 in Hackensack, police said. The woman was crossing the street at the intersection of Hudson and Moonachie Road when she was struck around 9:45 p.m., Police Chief Michael Antista said. The female suffered serious bodily injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was cooperating with investigators. The incident is under investigation.

E-Bike Operator Hospitalized With Head Trauma In Fairview Crash
The operator of an electric bicycle was hospitalized in an early-morning Fairview crash Thursday, June 20, police said. The man appears to have tried to pass a landscaping truck while heading west on Fairview Avenue when he was struck by an eastbound motorist around 7:40 a.m., Deputy Chief John Pierotti said. 8-Year-Old Horseback Rider Seriously Injured In New Jersey SUV Crash
An 8-year-old horseback rider suffered serious injuries in a crash with an SUV in North Jersey this week, authorities said. The child was riding the horse along Linn Smith Road in Frankford Township, when the horse traveled into the roadway and struck the side of a Ford SUV around 5:10 p.m, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said.
