Former Ridgefield Firefighter, Ambulance Captain Bryan Berta Dies, 41 Bryan B. Berta of Ridgefield died on April 3. He was 41 years old.  Born in Englewood, Bryan graduated from Ridgefield Memorial High School where he was in the marching band playing the Tuba and performed in several school musicals. He was a firefighter with Ridgefield Fire Co. 2 and former captain for the Ridgefield Ambulance Corp., his obituary says. "Bryan was an avid toy collector of Voltron action figures, trains, eagles cars, and NASA," the obit says. "He was a San Jose Sharks fan and Jets fan.
